How is CreateMyBB's service free?
CreateMyBB is free and can remain free through small advertisements displayed on the top of every page on your forum and on the bottom of the show thread pages. We make money through these advertisements, which therefore lets us pay for the hosting and provide the many services we offer.
-
What types of advertisements are displayed?
Currently, banner and text ads are displayed on your board. We try to keep as few as possible to help make them as invisible as possible. We do not sell your email address or the email addresses of those that register on your forum, and we also do not display pop-ups or pop-under ads. Our advertisements should not ever interrupt your board's general functioning or ongoings.
